It is one piece and you just pry it off. Two snaps on the top, two on the bottom. Two electrical connectons, when you get the bezel off you can see them. Had ours painted black, hope this helps. Anyone know who 'has' removed it? I read the service manual and it says two locking tabs,,,,,but the tabs on the back side don't seem to budge??? thanks for any assistance

It was tricky to figure out, but if our minds are working (hey, it is after midnight - way past our bedtime), it is a two step process. The sleeve (silver/orange parts) has to be released before the black plastic piece with attached cover can be removed. Here are two pics, before and after, maybe you can see how it came apart.
