Tony, Last week I emailed you a few questions about the G-Force Stage II gears. You answered some of them but not the most important one to me or any other potential customer. "Who manufactures these gears for you?" If your chain breaks and destroys my transaxle I am concerned about replacement costs, since a new Prowler transaxle is a hefty $6,000.00. Your gears are only as good as your manufacture's reputation. Thank you, Don Gibson |

If I understand correctly the same manufacturer makes the chain is the same as the OEM. I paid $2463 for my new tranny from the dealer... Also, there are many other parts in the tranny which will give out before the chain even thinks about failing. take care ------------------ |

Don Although I have come to know Dean at Prowler Pro I would say the manufacturer probably isn't as important as the R&D and road testing. I know Prowler Pro tested his gears for almost 10K miles before starting to offer them to others. Prowler Pro gears were made by the original manufacturer Borg Warner, and have been in mine and many other cars for several years without a single failure. Not quite sure how G Force got around the patent issues but would also like to see more information. ------------------ |

Like many of us here have the greastest of faith in the G-Force Gears, Tony(G-Force) is one of the founders of this site, the way I see it there is nothing to worry about and Tony is "always" available for questions, all you need to do is email him. click here for G-Force gears info ------------------ |

Gary I agree with you about Tony but if you look at Don's post you'll see he did email Tony with his questions and didn't get them all answered, that's why he put up a post. Maybe Tony has responded by now. ------------------ |

Maybe Tony wants to keep his hand close to his chest like Dean did. |

quote: Gary, not sure what you're referring to. From the 1st time I met Dean he told me his gears were made by the same manufacturer that made the gears for the transaxle, Borg Warner. Doesn't seem to be that tough of question to me. ------------------ |
