For Sale - Alumicraft custom billet grill. Bought from Dan Baker's Alumicraft (alumicraft.com) in January 2007. Paid $695.00. Grill has been used on my car off and on ever since. I increased the size of the grill opening by about 3/8" all around for additional airflow. I also painted the fiberglass surround to match my car and to give it an additional bit of a 1932/1933 style. More pics are available. $350.00 SOLD This message has been edited by jim des on 05-20-2019 at 06:21 PM |

That is a great deal for what you have there. IF I didn't already have one of their grill's, I would have already contacted you. |

Jim, I am interested but I don't understand "increased the size of the grill opening by 3/8". Did you cut the front nose piece on your car? Let me know what is changed. Will it fit into a stock opening? If so, I will take it. I can pay with Paypal or send you a check. |

Ed - Yes, the grill fits the front opening. On the top there are 2 holes (as on the stock original) to mount the grill. The connection on the bottom is different from the original. The bottom of the grill can be attached with back-to-back tape or with a "zip-tie" as I usually used. I made the opening wider (see light blue arrows on the image) by shaving off material from the inside of the opening. I then needed to add one small billet aluminum piece on each side (see light green arrows) to fill the extra space. I'll send a few extra photos. I did not cut or need to alter the front nose piece of the car. Ed - additional pictures...The additional billet pieces are on each end of the top part of the grill. Note: The grill is epoxied to the fiberglass frame. The "tab" on the bottom, with a useless mounting hole, is shown in the other photo. It was easiest for me to use a zip tie to connect it to the inside frame brace on the car. --Jim Ed - the last photo shows the location of the zip tie attachment to the frame. - Jim This message has been edited by jim des on 05-16-2019 at 09:32 PM |

If anyone needs anything packaged securely, get Jim to do it. The grill arrived yesterday in pristine condition due to the fabulous packing job. I hope to get it installed today. |
