This was intended as an wall art project, not as a replacement trunk lid. There appears to be some prior repair/mod work on both upper corners. It is in the natural, un-prepped, un-painted form, scuff marks, but no dents. It appears to be intact otherwise - brackets, latch. hole locations. etc. Shipping is probably oversized - 70x50x20 75 lbs. from 20866 zip code $600 + shipping...NEW PRICE This message has been edited by MeanGene on 12-06-2017 at 01:45 PM |

FYI, there are no welded nuts in the trunk lid. There is a steel plate, sandwiched in between the aluminum, and it has threaded holes in it. It is riveted in position. You could install that plate after the fact if you had one. It can slide in the opening. It looks to me that they exist in this trunk lid as I can see the 5 rivets holding it in place. The plate itself is black so it would be hard to see in the picture. |

The lid has ALL mounting (four) screws to mount to the hinges brackets - for any AZ wheelchair mechanic to inspect. It appears to be intact otherwise - brackets, latch. hole locations. etc. This message has been edited by MeanGene on 11-03-2013 at 05:45 PM |

the lid is supposed to have large plates with the mounting nuts welded to that plate for strength on both hinges and latch mtg area.you spoke to soon beachy.those pates are welded or riveted to the inside of the lid, plates are for added strength, otherwise eventually the nuts would rip out of thepart. ------------------ |

You are a beggar for punishment aren't you? You said the nuts were welded inside the hole. They are not. You said you were sorry but they cannot be added after. They can be. You said they were missing from this trunk lid. They are not. You stuck your nose in this thread with 3 wrong statemnets and now you're telling me I spoke too soon. You must have no pride whatsoever or you're just plain ,,,,,,,,,,, |
