Upcoming Texas cruise will meet up at bucees in lulling at 10am 11/14/15. Depart 10:30 ish for Gonzales memorial museum where it is stated that the " come and take it" flag is and some other Texas historical items. We might also check out the jail museum. Depart for Shiner brewry store where we will taste beers!! Shop for shiner paraphernalia. Brewry is not open for tours on Saturdays. Depart from Shiner and carefully proceed to Schulengerg for an early dinner at Sengelmanns for some good German food! 4:30-5:00 head for the house. Should be a fun run with 7-8 cars so far!! http://sengelmannhall.com/custom This message has been edited by mslc10 on 11-01-2015 at 06:29 PM |

Thanks Mark for setting this up. You and Dana did a great job. One of the best things was getting to meet 3 new couples with prowlers. And of course seeing old friends as well. I will post just a few pics also. In front of the "Come and Take It" Museum The "Come and Take It" canon. I have to be honest, I was a little surprised at how small it was. Not sure why Mexico was so concerned about it. The weather turned out to be great! At the restaurant. |

Rebecca & I really enjoyed the day of cruising, eating, stopping at museums and shops and of course talking with everyone. If nothing develops for a National Prowler event in 2016, maybe we'll see about doing a long weekend in the Hill Country again next Spring. |
