This year's New Jersey lighthouse Challenge was one of the best! I think everyone who joined us for one day or both had a great time. Sharon, Steve and Wild Bill put in tons of effort to map the route, arrange for hotel accomodations, gather "goodies" for the raffle, awesome dash plaques (with a wonderful tribute to members who are no longer with us) some really neat laser engraved wood boxes, etc. Especially for the "catered" lunch on the pavilion by the Sea Girt Lighthouse right on the Ocean. I don't if the had an "in" with the weather, but we had two beautiful days! Thanks! Youz done good! For those who missed this year, plan on Maryland in September and the fourth annual Jersey Challenge in October. It was really great to see everyone old and new. |

I think we got two threads going on this but I'll post here anyway. Thanks to The Jersey gang again for putting together a great weekend. I think it was the smoothest Challenge yet. The lunch at the beach was awesome. The on the cool side but otherwise perfect. And we showed up the Miata club time after time! Actually we had one more car then them and had a nice chat in the parking lot at Tuckers Island lighthouse. Nice people. Dinner was great both nights and allowed us time to talk about the days events. And the goodies and raffle stuff was the best! We all went home with loads and loads. And SirReal got the 50/50. If you need a loan, call him. |

Gad, we will be there. We wish we could make EVERY event but it is hard to do. The Lighthouse Challenge was very nice when we did attend. You all are lucky to have a very active group and a lot of good people. I was sorry to see Darcy drop out but there are still a lot of great folks up that way. We are really looking forward to Tulsa. I think it will be the best ever event. |

After Nick(PGPD)& Myself(GARYSSS) left on Saturday. Gadster was the only Blue Kat left, he had no choice but to feel Blue. LOL Sharon, Steve and Wildbill did a EXCELLENT job on the Lighthouse Tour Weekend. Cindy & me had a Great time on Saturday, wish we could have stayed for Sunday as it looked like it was even better. Thanks for all your time and effort to make a Great Event. Gary & Cindy This message has been edited by garysss on 10-21-2006 at 07:24 AM |
