I am planning this event for SATURDAY ONLY! Dinner will be at Dalton's Roadhouse in Escondido after the races at about 6:00 PM Staged on the runways and taxiways of NAS North Island with Navy aircraft and ships in the background, the Speed Festival will feature over 225 of the world's top racing machines from years gone by competing on a spectator-friendly 1.6 mile course. These vintage racecars are chosen to compete on the basis of their historical significance and certified authenticity. In addition to the racing action, we'll be able to tour the pipts and talk to the mechanics and drivers, tour the Vendor Village, The Car Club Corral with approximately 700 cars and also visit the Classic Car Collection. To purchase tickets call 619-283-5808 I have the Car Corral passes that will enable us to park trackside in the high profile Car Club Corral. After purchasing your tickets, please send me an e-mail and I will send your Car Corral pass via USPS. One day ticket is $15.00 pre-paid or $20.00 at the gate on the day of the event. Two day tickets are $20.00 pre-paid or $30.00 at the gate. We have preferred parking in the Car Club Corral for up to 40 cars. Let's make this a big show! Unfortunately, I will not be able to bring the Kat. But I do look forward to meeting some of the other POA members for the first time. I have been to this speed fest event in previous years. It�s an excellent event!!! It is a blast seeing these pre 1972 racers (Cobra, Vettes, etc�) getting on it again at the track. Plus garages are open to all, and lots of static displays. Usually Dodge or Chrysler has an area full of concept cars on display too. Hope to see you - Kcat

We will depart at 8:00 AM SHARP for our cruise to Coronado. I hope to see you there!
