All, Bought the Jefferson Auto turn signal relocation kit. Bumpers came off fine (one of the nuts is a pain but not too bad). I put one of the kits in on the left side very easy. When I went to put on the other side it would not fit. Taking a closer look it seems like the nose is not quite centered so it is impeding it from fitting(can't see when actually looking at from a distance but there is a slightly larger gap between the hood and the nose on the side it wont fit). Has anyone run into this problem. I am thinking that there should be some adjustment in the nose I can play with. Does anybody know where I can adjust the nose. |

Put the cat up on ramps,,,under the front of the nose there are several rivet type connectors along the bottom of the nose piece....maybe some were not put in if the 'Wonder Bar' was installed on your car? Two of my cats needed those connectors removed to get the flexibility of space to install the WB. Some owners didn't need to remove those connectors to install their WB that way. If no Wonder Bar,,,Must be some other way to adjust the nose...might need the Prowler Body Diagnostic Procedures book to help you find the way to adjust.. Good luck,,,you'll get there and those Tom Mills/Jeff. Auto covers will look excellent. This message has been edited by ALLEY CAT on 05-17-2019 at 11:01 AM |

So I got the relocation kit on. Essentially the nose area was quite a bit off. I ended up moving the mounting brackets attached to the frame then took of the headlight assembly and adjusted the body panels by undoing screws, pulling and then screwing to utilize any play possible. It is not perfect but it works. I am surprised of the difference between the fit on both sides. |

Pictures of finished product or how I removed the headlight? Unfortunately I did not take pictures during the process. |
