Anyone know what needs to be done to replace the battery in the key fob, Some cars need the fob to be re-programmed. For the prowler is it just replace the battery and does anyone know the battery number. Thanks |

I am almost positive there is a replaceable battery in the fob. There is a slot on one end on the edge that looks like it is designed for a screwdriver to twist and open the case. I do not know the battery part number but hope it is a popular number. As far as programming, look in the owners manual and you should find the instructions. Just be aware that when reprogramming the fobs, you will need to do all of them at the same time. I hope this is of some help. |
