My hood cable broke and iam unable to open the hood. Does anyone know how to open the hood without the cable in place. thanks |

only one way i know of.remove the cover on the floor,i think it snaps in place.you need access to end of cable.grasp end of cable w/a vise grip and pull.it should open it.there is no access at the frt.the cable most likely came loose from the handle on the floor.let me know what happens.once in a while the cable will stretch,then its time for a new on if thats the case. ------------------ This message has been edited by catfish on 09-02-2010 at 10:45 AM |

My cable problem in at the latch under the hood, not on the interior floor. I will try Scott's fix tomorrow. Thanks, bob |
