Does anyone know how to get light swirl or minor clear coat scratches from the paint. Black car.... Small area about the size for your hand... Can it be sprayed over with clear coat and buffed out. No damage to the paint itself... |

One of best products to use on clear coat is 3M Finesse-it II, this is the product we used at the auto plant I retired from. Al |

For minor swirl marks or scratches on my Black 99, we clean the car thoroughly with an oribtal buffer with a terry bonnet using Mother's #1 cleaner. Then we apply Mother's #2 Swirl Hider using a fresh terry cover with the orbital buffer. The final step is a good wax, again with a fresh terry cover. Works great for us!!! The paint on my cat is awesome! ------------------ Classic/Beautiful - I'm referring to the Cat of course! |
