Since picking up the Prowler I have had an on again off again issue with the radio, more off then on.

When I have had to recharge the dead battery, caused by the radio, it comes back on the next couple drives. Then it goes black or it will leave the clock on without advancing in time.

I thought I had some possible wire damage, but as of yet have not found any. I have pulled the radio fuse a couple of times. A just to stop the drain on the battery and B to see if I could cause the resetting the recharge/jump has caused.

Any thoughts?
Could it be the Radio itself?

I've not had this problem on my Prowler, but based on my experiences with other Chrysler products which use very similar systems, I'd very much suspect the radio. I would remove the passenger seat and look at the connections to the amp, and make sure they were not corroded maybe before spending any money. There's an awful lot of nice Prowlers out there that have been wet under that seat. Even if it's never been in the rain, a little spilled water goes directly to that area.
