Just got my new clear deck lid protector yesterday and could'nt wait to get er on. Would'nt you know I would screw it up. Take note all! After getting everything in place as per instructions it says to spray the top of the clear protector with the supplied solution and squeegee out the solution under the protector. The problem is the supplied squeegee left small scratches in the top finish of the protector. Nothing short of starting over and taking it off I'm not sure what the h#@l to do. Word of warning.....DON'T use the squeegee. Try something else.

I haven't ordered a protector yet so I don't know what's all involved in the install, my thought is the problem is one of two things. The squeegee is defective or you need to keep applying the solution so the proctor doesn't get dry on top, best of luck when you get your new protector.

Did one, no problems. You do not have to push hard and use the solution liberal. If you have lines, use a hair dryer to heat it up and use a soft cloth to smooth. Call Zole if need be

I got a question regarding the deck lid protector, or rather the solution used in the application process. I haven't bought one yet because I'm kind'a scared of screwing it up. My concern is how easy (or difficult) is it to remove unwanted application solution from the finish. I'm sure that if it's necessary to "use the solution liberal" then there will be excess which needs to be removed. Could someone who has installed one of these protectors please explain the clean up process for me. I'd much appreciate any knowledge that anyone is wiling to share.

I've put on transfers for years. I imagine there's a special fluid, but windex works for me. A soft rubber, not plastic squeege is the best for getting the bubbles out.

I do not know what in it, but it has never done anything to the surface of any of my cars. All I did was wash the car normally and dry. No problems at all. It is water based I know. Zole has done hundred and hundreds of car and no residue of nothing bad done.
