to lube all the gaskets,boots-bushings,and other rubber products on your cat and other cars,a very good product to use is wurth rubber care, from wurthusa.com-part# is 0890110-u, can only be ordered thru website.good stuff.use on steering and axle shaft boots.gaskets, header gasket at top of w/s.,rubber bushings on susp.top side seals.spray on a couple of coats,at least,a couple times a year.or spray on rag and apply.will keep them soft. ------------------ |

Jan told me about the Wurth's Rubber Care and I can honestly say it is a very good product. As Jan says, I have used it on all the rubber bushings, hoses, and boots. You will definitely increase the life of the rubber by using this stuff. |

one good thing about chrysler products,is that they use the best rubber material available, the rubber parts last a long time,it will last even longer w/rubber care.cant say the same about gm rubber products, they just dont have the longevity.they use a foam rubber type material, and it tends to rott very quickly.my 85 dodge truck, has all the original rubber dr.gaskets, and this is in az.where today it hit 110 degrees.by the way my truck, has never been in a garage, gms rubber products just dont last compared to chryslers. ------------------ |
