Hello, I was wondering if anyone out there knows of a shop where I can take my Prowler and have the G-Force gears put in for me. Preferably somewhere in Los Angeles County, but Orange county can be an option as well (I think I saw that a shop in Fullerton has installed these gears). I already have the gears here at my home, but don't have the time or energy (or patience!) to put them in myself. Also, how much do you think someone would charge me for this? Thanks for any information. Keith |

Keith, Call or email Ken Romain (714-293-2266) or email ocprwlr@yahoo.com, he may be able to provided you with a contact or if your planning a weekend trip to Las Vegas I'll be happy to install the G-Force gear for you for a six pack longer neck Miller beer. I installed my G-Force took about 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Good Luck Nic |

actually if you are handy you should be able to do it. If not any mechanic or transmission shop should be able to do it. I have not done it or even read the instructions but Tony installed Rich Wares after dark in the parking lot. Think it took him about 1 1/2 hour and that is because he ended up with an extra part and had to take it back apart |

If you have some ramps, and can use a couple of tools, try it yourself. I did mine last fall, and it was surprisingly easy. Only recommendation I have is, make sure you solder/hard wire your sensor wires. The clips provided do not work very well. |
