I live in NY and the road stink. I just recently purchased my 01 Prowler and probably put 800 miles in 2 months. The Prowler has 8000 on it now. I noticed on the cross bar that the shocks are mounted to, that there is some oil there, proably leaking from the shocks. I just called up the Chrysler 2 minutes ago and asked for pricing for new front and backs. The man called me back and asked if I was sitting down. He told me the rears go for $890 each and the fronts $342 each. Does anyone know where I can get them cheaper and get them shipped to me. The whole car would cost around $3000 to get all of them replaced, the labor was only $400 so the rest is all parts.

Any suggestions,
Joe

I forgot ....... The rear shocks usually make no problems.
Check them if they are bad. You may have catched dirt or oil from the street in the back .
You will see dirt and oil in the front , at the bottom were the front shox are mounted . If the front shox are wet, full of oil, so replace them.
I payed $274.- + 8% tax. >>>>>> -C-.

Thanks for your response, what a difference in $$. Your price for 2 is less than what they told me for one...
