we've had some really bad weather here for the past week, more to come. i notcied on the bad days, one of my headlights had some condensation on the inside. is this a common problem?

obviously, there seal has been breached at some point, letting the moisture settle in. i had a old lexus SC400 that had the same problem. nothing major ever happened as a result, so i don't know if there is any cause for concern.

Yes, it's common and Chrysler says in a TSB that it's not a problem.

I was able to purchase 2 new rubber gaskets for the headlight housings to stop the problem. $6.00
This may be your fix also.
The covers come off and the gasket is right underneath the cover 15 minutes to replace.
If you need the part # I looked it up for you.
4897007-AA 4897006-AA (total for both $5.68)

I still have moisture in one of my tail-lights from the Texas event. I have opened up the bulb holes, used a blow dryer, and the cat has set in the warm 100 degree temps for days,,,,,,,,moisture still in there. Any ideas?
