at what speeds are the shift points.

2nd
when you shift from first to second to third or downshift from third to second to first is there a lag between when you shift to when the trans. shifts. (in autostick)

3rd
how does the sutostick work with the prowlers. my current car (celica gts) the sportshift (aka autostick) has four buttons on the stearing wheel. two on the front and two on the back. the two on the front or for down shifting and the two on the back are for upshifting. where do u guys shift on? the shifter itself? up and down or side to side?

thanks

I don't know about shift points. I would guess its a matter of how hard you want to drive your car.

I don't notice any lag when shifting. I avoid a clunking noise by making sure that I'm hitting the gas as I'm shifting.

You shift up by tapping the shifter to the right and down by tapping it to the left.

Shift points at WOT are at about 6500 in Drive. Rev limiter kicks in at about 66-6700. On the back of the steering wheel are controls for the radio volume on one side, and channel change on the other. Someone has used these for fingertip
shifting.

Gary - unfortunately for you it is true. At least your post made me laugh.

Hollywood, car has the gears but I have never noted exact speeds. I gret it back (again) tonite or Thursday AM. I'll do a run up through the gears and post MPH at shifting points. Maybe someone with stock gears ca do the same.

Marty

Here you go. I just did search and found this post from Marc from a couple of years ago. It might help you see difference in the gears. I'll still post shifting MPH later. http://www.prowleronline.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/000359.html
