So I have wondered about getting a grill screen and attracting a “puller” fan to it , wired thru a relay off the main fan, so as to bring air into the front nose section , making cooler air more readily available for main fan to pull thru a/c coil and radiator.

I would say that it might help but might also be a wash because you would be blocking the grille opening by the size of the fan. You should experiment and let us know.

I think you would have better luck making a louvered hood out of that spare one you have.

I have 2 cars...woodward has stock side panels..orange kat has oval inserts....WAY COOLER IN FLOORBOARDS...Amazing how much heat is moved out of engine compartment with ovals....if not having both probably would not have believed it....I think thats where I would spend my $$....and the looks are tremendous...in fact I need a set for woodward...jim

good idea!!! Unfortunately im not into louverd look , but still a good idea.
