I made my own tool out of a heavy metal strap from Home Depot. Bent it into a "C" and ground it to fit "inbetween" the tabs. Then put a large pipe wrench on top of the tool facing down and unscrewed. PS. Don't forget the heat shrink. Steve

I have one drawn up on my computer and was going to have some made but I need some dimensions that I can't get anyone to provide. Was to be made from 3 plates of metal (roughly 2"x6"x1/4"thk). It's been said they are readily available at local part stores for about $20 but when I tried getting one at AutoZone they didn't have any and didn't know what I was talking about.

I also drew up some flag caddys to have made. I just need to print it up and locate a vendor.

No surprise there... when you need a part or good advise, it would be more advisable to speak with a counter person at NAPA, Carquest, and places other than Autozone, O'Reily, Pep Boys, etc... with their unknowledgeable employees. Trust the pros...

Nope, it's pretty much a generic fuel pump wrench, I've also used an oil filter wrench with a tire tube wrapped around the nut

Not sure if you have room for one of these but they work great for grabbing without damage. I use mine for just about everything
