I maybe the first one to have this problem because I have a 1997 Cat, but I am sure more of you will have this issue in the future. The rear window seal on the outside of the fabric top dries out and becomes loose. This started to happen to me when I parked the car in the warm FL sun and the seal melted and then dried out. It became progressively worse. Here is how you fix it for Less than $3.00:

1. Buy a tube of clear silicon at you locale auto store for $2.50

2. Mask the area where the seal is dried out with tape on the window. This allows you push the fabric top flush with the window and the excess silicon squeezes on to the tape instead of on your window.

3. After applying the silicon let it sit for 20 minute, then pull off the masked tape with the excess silicon on it. You should have a nice clean window still. Then apply the tape to the glass window and the fabric top to hold down the seal between the fabric and glass window. Keep the tape on for 24 hours and let the silicon cure.

those windows are electronically welded.had no success with silcone or anything else.try the silicone maybe it will work, maybe it wont, let us know either way.silicone will stick to the glass but not the top itself.

Jan, Got to tell you that JJProwler had the same problem over 5 years ago and used "GOOP" to glue it back together. To this day the top is still together and hasn't started to come apart like it did. It came apart one night when it was raining hard and he glued it even though it was still damp and by the next morning he drove it to the event and it did not come apart.
