Butchee, Anyone- Have you tried the 160* thermostat? If so, any noticable change, positive or otherwise? I'm not a wrench but it seems to me that Prowlers are right on the edge of adequate cooling capacity already. Because of that, the benefits of a cooler thermostat would not be readily realized? I think the LH cars would have a better chance at improvement because of the (larger?) different air intake and cooling system? Thanks |

chromer- I haven't tried the lower temp thermostat, but if it results in a cooler running engine without making the puter change fuel mixture or timing it's probably a good thing. |
