My new Prowler ran just a bit above horizontal for the first time on the hottest day of the year. I checked the over flow tank and the anti freeze is about an inch low. What worries me a little is the tank up to the plastic mid line looks like a burnt oil spill, pretty black. There is also a brown, bubbley patch floating on top of the dark green antifreeze. Do you think this is normal or did somebody put oil in wrong place or even worse a sign of malfunction. I just hyperventilated! Car runs great, motor oil is clean and new looking. Should I worry? Thanks

I have seen this also even on low milage prowlers looks like somebody put stopleak in the cooling system. I think it is casting sand left in the engine block by chrysler. I would get it flushed out. hope this helps
