I've replaced my "v" belt for the AC compressor for the 3rd and hopefully the last time. I found that the bolt on the back of the serpentine belt tensioner was rubbing on the "v" belt and causing it to flip over and tear it up. I tried to reach Paxton yesterday to no avail, so here's what I did: I added one washer on each of the two bolts to space the serpentine tensioner further from the engine and "v" belt tensioner. ------------------ |

Mike, This is exactley what Apex Motor Sports is having to do on my Paxton install as we speak. He is playing around with adding washers to space the tensioner out about 1/4 of an inch or shorter. Other wise in my case the tensioner hits my front case. I enjoy the fact that these guys have done paxton and vortech for the longest times and can on an instant determine what to do next. My boost gauge was broken and pointing to 5 lbs of boost. I called david at paxton and he is sending a new one right away to Apex Motor Sports. My Paxton install is still about two days away. I'll be posting more pics soon of recent shots I've done on the install. The hood has been removed and everything else on front. I just heard from Apex that Vortech is working on a setup for the prowler also.
