Before going to Woodward 2000 Gary C and David N. came to Indy to join me on the way up.

Well all 3 of our cars have some customizing done to them. All 3 have the front bumpers removed. One thing I noticed when I first saw David's car was his backup lights. Now I didn't know if they changed them for the 2000 model but I knew they were different than mine.

They came out to the house and we cleaned the cars getting ready for the drive to Farmington Hills the next day.

David let me in on the secret to his backup lights. SHHHHHUUUU OK here it is

He took the lens out of the front bumpers and installed them in place of the backup light lens.

Well I liked it so well I had to go up into the attic and remove the lens from my bumpers and reinstall them in the rear. I was asked if I could tell any difference in the amount of light. At the time I was pulling my trailer and try not to back up the short little thing. So I really didn't know if it was better for visability or not.

Tonight I had the car out. It was very dark and when I went to back up I could not believe how much light I had behind me. The molding makes the light fan out more and give much better view.

The lenses are the exact same shape but the spacing on the back is different and I placed 3 #8 flat washers behind one screw on each lens to get it to be flush with the bumper like the factroy back up lights. Twist out the backup lights from stock lens, reinstall in front lens and install in bumper. It is that easy

IN MY OPINION IT LOOKS BETTER AND YOU CAN ACTUALLY SEE BETTER Win-Win
