Article facts and pictures by Motoring Research... . Quote: "The Pacifica debuted in 2017 as a replacement for the aging Town & Country,,,, How much 'research' did this company do? There was a previous Pacifica model made many years before 2017.... Was priced too high, IMO, and had lots of reliability issues: "Reliability > The initial production models of the Pacifica gave the nameplate a bad reputation, due to poor mechanical reliability of the transmission and engine, liner and interior flaws, electrical glitches, and low build quality. Furthermore, **Chrysler was slow to react in fixing these problems" ** Sound familiar?

AC, I test drove a Pacifica in 2005. It was like riding in a boat. It floated too much. ------------------ |

I'm on my second current generation Pacifica. I believe that you'd be very surprised by the ride and handling of this vehicle. I had 40K on the 2017 and have 6K on the 2018. This car has no relationship with the vehicle you drove in 2005 other than the name. |
