In speaking with a friend in Colorado, she knows I'm a car nut. She asked me if I've ever been to Teluride for Cars and Color's. Never even heard of it. There are car shows, cruise ins, things like Hot August Nights, visits to awesome car history places like the old CAAP plant, Classic races and car events. What are some of the must see, must do, must participate events you think are bucket list items for a car nut? We have so very much enjoyed the Prowler trips, seeing famous places, museums, train rides, boat tours, small town visits. And of course the companionship of great people! What are "Not to miss" cruises, shows, visits etc. ? Retirement may be close. What's your favorite? Lot's of great shows and events plus museums. If you're headed to Colorado, you should consider a stop at the American Museum of Speed in Lincoln, NE. It's an absolutely amazing place. Closer to you: Then there's events: And the list goes on.. |

Thank you Bob. I am going to compile a list of these, I know that the Cruisin' the coast is one I have heard about that people seemed to really enjoy, there are car specific ones like the POCI Nationals (PONTIAC) we are going to (RIGHT after we see Willy Nelseon in WI at Alpine Valley) . The SSR Fanatics are doing theirs in AZ this year I think, and The Viper club etc. Pebble Beach etc. I wanjt to compile a list of the shows I want to attend while they are still around. Oh, and the "Bandit Run" for any Trans Am owners. That would be a blast as well. Thanks for responding! John |
