MSRP starting at $13 K
.

I hear the comments about products made in China,,,yet we
purchase appliances, car batteries, furniture, etc etc made
in CHINA.

The question is > for $13K would you buy this vehicle for transporter use to beat the high cost of gas curenty?

Yes, I would take a chance. For around town use, not long distance.
But, you will not see this vehicle this inexpensive, sold in the USA.
My 2 Cents.

Waiting for this EV: http://www.hotcars.com/everything-we-know-about-the-electric-piech-gt/

They claim it uses some new-tech batteries that are lighter than Li-ion and charge faster...

I tend to remember a time when the US auto makers were lagging the world and the imports came in droves. Something similar is happening now. Most of the foreign car manufacturers are ahead in the electric vehicle game.

While it looks like a cool vehicle I really don’t want a Chinese car. It’s bad enough so many things in our lives come from there. I would go Volvo or VW before going Chinese.

My Volvo S90 was designed in Sweden, and assembled in China. The front seat even have the Swedish national flag on them. Chinese Geely Holding Group own Volvo.

The $13k proce doesn't include shipping to the US or US safety specs required on all vehicles. Like you, I wouldn't be interested in owning that car for a number of reasons.
