Being Optimistic, if the blower drive was at 1 to 1 or even under-driven and the inside was coated with a gasoline proof coating it might work. My concern would be on the heads. There would have to a metal spacer between the combustion chambers [block] and the head or the internal combustion would quickly burn a hole thru the head. I suppose it is all possible but my question would be, WHY? |

the guy says it runs, how long 10 seconds.the gas would soak into the wood, and when a cyclinder fires,i would think kiss the wooden head goodbye.as tc says, why. ------------------ |

Well , so far it's fooled everybody that's looked at it! It's not a Flathead! It's a chev 350 made to look like a flathead! As far as the wooden blower, it's a fake too, The real intake and carb are inside the fake wooden blower! Note the pass side top radiator hose the one to the wooden flathead head is blocked off, the second line in that hose goes to the Chev 350 thermostat housing hidden under the wood blower. Look closely, Very cleverly done! I had the same response you all did when I first looked at it. |
