Had my front porch & landing & inside the Garage landing & porch recarpeted. They didn't call me. Just showed up last Thurs. & did the Job. Came out great...........Except For: Apperantly they were thirsty & drank from our outside hose. Left the water on. Discovered it Friday after work. Water ran for at least 24 hrs. Checked the driveway. Found nails & staples everywhere. Couldn't figure WHY my garage was so dirty........Dusty! Come to find out after removing the old carpet. They sanded the adhesive off the cement & the garage porch. Ran to the Prowler that was iside with the Top down all that time! Inside & out is covered with an abrasive dust! Everything!! (I went balistic) Called the Carpet installation service that I had hired Sat morning. The owner was Totally silent till I was done. He appoligized.........& said take your car to a Detailer of your choice. Bring me the Bill & it will be taken care of. No questions asked! Hope that crap comes off with out any marking or scratching!! Met with the detailer today at my house. He assured it could be cleaned inside & out & Waxed to my satisfaction. He works on BMW's..Audi's...Vets...& such. He is a high end detailer. Have recommendations from a local dealership that deals only in exotics! We will see. He's doing it this Tues!! I have my fingers crossed! The carpet guy better cross his also! |

This should not of happened, but I will be very positive and say they will work on your Prowler and it will look fantastic. Maybe you could go down to the gas station or use someone's air compressor and blow some of the dust out of the car before the detailer arrives. |

I did that with my leaf blower. Sticks to to car. Armour on the seats & dash. Sticks like glue. It's even on the tail pipes. In the air vents. Around the radio. Behind the seats & in the carpet. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! |

larry sure you did this already, but before they do the detailing, start your fan and blow out all the a/c--heat ducts from the inside out. sam |

Sorry to hear this happened to you. Hope evrything works out OK. I always put the top and windows up while the Prowler is in the garage. You never know when pipe or something will burst or break. This message has been edited by BeWare on 06-23-2008 at 10:50 AM |

i would also suggest to pull the seats, only 4 bolts each, and use a compressor to blow it out, alot more pressure than a leaf blower.pulling the seats you will be able to get it all.good luck.what a bunch of jerks.reminds me of ed moses dodge, when working on my car,i told them keep windows and top up,they had for a couple of days, went to pick it up,and there it sat windows and top down and full of dust.never went there again, complained to general manager not even an apology. ------------------ This message has been edited by catfish on 06-23-2008 at 03:02 PM |

Wiped down engine.....Vacumed inside the trunk. Wheels front & back inside & out. Scrubbed the carpet & mats. Que tiped all vents. Waxed her. Looks like a Show car!
