Today during our company's Annual National Sales Meeting I accepted an offer to relocate to San Antonio. This will be the first time our company has "started" an office from scratch since we opened here in Louisville in 1973. Over the last seven or eight years we have acquired businesses in more then a half dozen cities but not entered a new market as a "start up". Hopefully I'll be able to make this thing work well and be able to retire a couple of years early! We'll be moving in late March or early April. I'll be transitioning my local accounts to another person for the next 90 days. Rebecca & I are making a house hunting trip down there from December 26 to New Year's Eve. The next few months should not be dull! |

...lived there from March 1973 - Nov.1974...I was just about the only guy in all of SA with a MOPAR ...BuddyC lives there still, might give you some help in looking for areas to live in.... ...I've been wanting to make a return road trip to visit SA again...may see ya this summer ...I remember going to Johnsons Ranch and seeing tumbleweeds blowing down the highway, it sure wasn't like home....took 19 1/2 hours HARD driving from SA to NC Indiana, we usually drove it straight thru ...nothing like a new adventure in life to keep ya young and fresh....good luck in your endeavors |

Hey enjoy your life as a Texan. We will miss you in this part of the country. Carole and I lived in San Antonio and have many fond memories. You will have allot more to do there than you did in Louisville. Good luck and congratulations! |
