If Obama got to run then there is no reason Cruz should not be allowed.

This country is a joke.

Rubio is in more trouble than Cruz. It was 4 years after he was born that his parents became citizens. He would be what we call an Anchor Baby, unless his parents had green cards before his birth.
That is one law that should be changed, making you a citizen of the country your parents are from. No more anchor babies! jmo

Sadly when the law was put into place people didn't do the anchor baby thing, maybe because they couldn't. Today it's crazy, but it's not fool proof or just that easy.

I know a woman indirectly that had a child here, he's now 15 but she is facing deportation. Her son gets to stay, but looks like she's going to have to go. If she can find someone to take legal responsibility for him he can stay, if not he has to leave with her. He can come back as soon as he turns 18, he'll then have to petition the US to allow his law breaking mother back in.

Yes ! It's funny how if your born of an American overseas your American and if your born here of un-Americans , your American. Which is it that determins your Americanism ? Birthplace or birth parents ?
