Here are some pictures of my New Tom Mills 2 Piece Trunk. I was one of the very lucky people to get (as BeWare says) one of the rarest of the rare aftermarket options. A while back Tom ask me if I had the ability and know how to install his 2 piece trunk. If I did, would I be interested in obtaining a kit he put together. I enthusiastically said yes and immediately drove north to meet him and pick up the kit. I tried to drive the trip without stopping (S Padre Island, TX to Niles, Michigan ). It turned out my younger driving abilities disappeared as I aged.I will not attempt this again. After meeting Tom he went over the kit and explained the installation process. I took lots of pictures, loaded up the kit, and headed south. Yes I took my time going back. During the installation process I was amazed at the quality of the parts and the easy to follow installation instructions. I cant imagine how many hours Tom spent designing and manufacturing this 2 piece trunk. Because each Prowler was hand built no two Prowlers are exactly alike. If you try to install a body part off one Prowler to fit on another you will find it will fit a little differently and have to be adjusted. Tom took this into consideration and made his 2 piece trunk with multiple adjustment points. This is not a plug and play installation but Tom designed and built this to make the custom installation as easy as possible. Any one who has purchased one of Toms products knows the workmanship, quality, and design rival’s any factory produced part. I finally got it painted and installed. I might need to tweak the fitting a little more before Tom sees it in person. He takes great pride in his products and wants everything he makes to be perfect. Thank You Tom for all you’ve done and all the support you provided to me during my trunk installation process. |

Back when Tom introduced the two piece deck lid, I wanted one and put my name on the list as being interested. As we all know, circumstances change and I reluctantly removed my name from that list a while later. It appears that this particular Prowler was destined to get this modification after all. It looks Great. |

Mine was the 1st one sold but the 3rd one produced (my light kit is also numbered 003) Here is 3 of the 1st cars with Tom’s kit….. was hoping to have Tom’s Woodward also which would have been all the kits in one place but he had tire issue & decided not to drive his car. Congratulations on getting the 1st DIY Tom Mills 2 piece deck lid. They are great & even with soft top so much more convenient to access trunk with top up. ------------------ |

There is also a Gary E chrome front suspension & Viper panels. Larry Lord also has parts on this car such as a PCM heat shield and wonder bar. The list gos on. Everyone please support our POA supported vendors. Check with them before going elsewhere. |

Your car looks awesome. Welcome to the two piece deck lid club. There is one other do it yourself kit out there. At least that I am aware of. It’s not my place to say who got it. I don’t think they have installed it yet. I have number 5. It would be cool to get all the cars together sometime. I think right now that would be 8. |

I don't think I have seen one without the spoiler tho? Is that a part of the lid as well? Hard top and one of these bad boys would finish up my car nicely. Waaaaay too expensive right now tho. Not the parts, my wife would divorce me and that's what would be expensive!! |

The 2-piece deck lid does not come with a spoiler/3rd brake light. The TGF spoiler (aftermarket) was on the car when I purchased it. I just adapted it to fit Tom Mills 2-piece trunk. These are no longer available. You might find a used one but I’ve never seen one for sale. Gary E still sells one very similar and all his products are 1st class. He has slowly been reducing his product line so I don’t know how much longer he will offer them for sale. Tom Mills, Larry Mays, & I believe BeWare’s cars do not have the spoiler/ 3-rd brake light. The below picture is Tom Mills car. |

Gorgeous. Beautiful car Dick. I think my car was #7. I have Gary's spoiler, which I love the look of, yes with the hard top on, so cool. I also have Gary's mini belly pan which I really like, but I've been told that it may have been a bit rougher to install than initially thought. Tom did a ton of work to our car last year from the deck, to the spoiler, wonder bar, door spacers, painted Bumpers, fronts removed etc. Love the look. |

I was wrong in my above post. There are 9 two piece deck lids that I am aware of. There could be more. 1) Tom Mills (no spoiler) |
