I finally finished changing my last speaker last fall. The subwofer was still in great shape unlike the others. Looking back, I wish I would have left it alone.

I wouldn't call it a "cheap" speaker as that's how they were made at the time. BUT,....you can go to "simplyspeaker.com" and order new foam rings, install and they will sound as good as new !!
