Hey all I try to change my steering wheel to a smaller one, I have found some that I like but there are no steering wheel hubs that fits. Is there anyone who has changed and can tell where I can find the parts? I live in Sweden and finding something here is not possible. Don't know how much it helps but I saw a video and the guy said and showed pics, I also used to have one so I think he is correct. A 99 jeep grand Cherokee shares the wheel. Good luck brother, I would start down that path. If you hit a wall PM me I'll dig a bit too |

No Facebook for me. I was seriously considering buying an adapter for a jeep grand Cherokee and running an old school grant gt wheel, "no airbags....we die like real men" saw that sticker on an old rat rod lol. Anyone done this? |

Is this a used item that has been rebuilt? It looks somewhat gritty in the pics so I just wondered? At $900 I'd want some providence, methinks. |

it’s only recently you can add a photo from a Apple device on this forum witch is great, but you do lose picture quality. The wheel is grate but yes it is very expensive. |

Hi Dave, thanks for posting pics of your car with the new steering wheel. Is there anyway you can post another pic without the yellow cloth covering the tach. I am really interested in changing out my wheel but want to make sure it fits the look of the car. Also, is the new wheel bigger or smaller in diameter than the original wheel. I would like it to be a little smaller. Thank you for your time. |

Hi Mike The steering wheel is a modified original prowler Wheel, so it’s basically the same size but with a flat bottom. It is a lot chunkier than the original wheel and feels great in the hand. My tachometer is larger than stock. |

Just received my Updated steering wheel from Aza Auto Wheel. Excellent workmanship. I am really impressed with this company. We had a little miscommunication on the color and the first wheel was a lighter color than I wanted. They sent detailed color pictures before shipping. They then Fed-Ex a color sample wheel (pieces of leather in the colors they use) to me with a paid return envelope. I picked out the colors I wanted, sent the color wheel back, & had a new steering wheel shortly after. The wheel was shipped double boxed & it also came in a Aza protective cover. They go the extra mile to be sure their customers happy. I highly recommend them if you want this type of upgrade. I did the installation myself and it was a breeze. |

You know I checked out both of these shops and they both do wonderful work. They both go the extra mile for their customers. It’s hard to find service like that these days. Seems like both have some avid supporters also. Thank all you avid supporters out there because if it wasn’t for you I might be a little hesitant in doing some of the modifications that I have done. As far as the steering wheel goes it just depends on what look you want. Either style wheel would look excellent on your car. As for me I wanted to retain the stock wheel in case I wanted to put everything back stock one day. I also wanted a little more updated modern look. I maybe paid a little more but they supplied the wheel. That way I got to drive my car while the new wheel was made. No regrets here guys. I hope everyone supports these two vendors. Because you avid supporters did all the research all I had to do was place the order. Thanks. Keep up the great recommendations. |

Here is mine. It's a work in progress. Dano @ AZA Auto Wheel has been great to work with. It's been a bit of a wait, but Dano has been doing a few different things with this wheel that is taking some extra time. It's getting closer. I'll post some pics when it arrives and after it is installed. It will be like Christmas in July for me! This message has been edited by SteelCityProwler on 06-12-2021 at 09:37 PM |

I purchased this car from Andria Raines, who also uses the name of alrtg on this site. Andria, as everyone knows, is a car person & during her ownership has kept this car in immaculate condition with very few changes. The paint scheme on this car, which is in fantastic shape, as well as all the chrome was done by the original owner. I have had some of the chrome pieces redone but most of it is in great shape. After all everything is around 20 years old. The original owner obviously spared no expense in making this car a winning show car. He sold it shortly after & it made its way to Andria. I happened onto the POA site & noticed Andria mentioned she was considering selling the car. After contacting her I realized this was a one in a million car owned by someone who obviously knew how to care for it. Also I had no second thoughts about the honesty & integrity of Andria. So I acquired a fantastic car in great shape. I have made some upgrades on parts but will try and retain the look of the car as I have received it. Andria now has sellers remorse. Sometimes you don’t realize what you have till you see it leave on a trailer. So I basically acquired a turn key custom car in fantastic shape. Thank You Andria. |

quote: The custom paint work was as Dick mentioned by the original owner who resided in Texas. The car as I understand it was in one of the Autorama shows back then. I seem to recall that the original owner's name was Richard Falcone. (Never a POA Member that I am aware of) This message has been edited by alrtg on 06-13-2021 at 08:53 AM |
