The Prowler Store and Ebay asks $39.95 for these 3 cent to manufacture items. Does anybody know where to buy them for a reasonable price?

Looking at your picture #2 the latch clip is the little protrusion sticking up from the rounded thumb clip. It is plastic and not quite one inch square. Before I got the new ones I had made one. I took a credit card (thin plastic) and cut one out with a coping saw and razor blade. It was a little bit thin but it worked.

That is just a reference picture #2 I have never had them on my car apparently. Never had a latch unclip either so . For me that's 100 Canadian dollars I don't need to spend only to have break again.
