The age grouping seems to be in the high end, which makes me wonder who would you want the prowler to go to. 1. leave it for your wife to decide

Realistically, it would be sold for the cash. This is fine with me. Let some other enthusiast enjoy it. |

Number 2. My kids already agreed among themselves, When they turn 18, Oldest one takes the prowler and Youngest one takes the Camaro. And I get to take the bus. |

True story. From the day I got the Prowler in January 2001, I told my son Chris it would be his car someday when I died. He was 16 when his Grandmother passed at age 93 after a couple of bad years. Chris and I were sitting out in our back yard after the funeral talking. I said, “I don’t want to die like that. I’m going to take the Cat and a bottle of Jack Daniels out to Route 108 (2-lane country blacktop with lots of curves, trees and no people), tip the bottle up, full throttle into my favorite curve, and just close my eyes.” He put his arm around my shoulders, gave me a squeeze and said, “Please don’t talk like that Dad. Take Mom’s car…”

The AlleyCat Prowler was titled in my grandson's name when new, and was to be given to him to drive at age 21. He'll be 16 next month, has no interest in driving or cars ......so I will sell the cat. Pretty sad isn't it! His loss,,,must have the genes from his father's family side (aka, Duck Dynasty)... |

With the possible exception of who ends up being your Prowler's potential seller, I don't see any especially meaningful differences between what I regard as the best four of the 10 alternatives you'd listed originally, namely: 1. leave it for your wife to decide 2. Give it to one of the kids. 3. sell it and let the money go into the cash 10. secret lover In my opinion...

Since the bank still owns it and most likely will till the day I die, they can have it. It won't be worth much by then because I plan on living to 100! |

I really prefer ours to stay in the family. Assuming nothing happens that forces me to sell it before my days are over and if I pass first the Prowler goes to Linda. Next in line is our oldest Son who wants it really bad. After him my Son In Law is very interested in it. The rest of the kids have not expressed much interest. Several of our Grandkids have though. |

quote: That's a Great story... When my stepson was about 15, I came home with a '67 427 Vettte..knowing that I change cars many times a yr, he asked if I was keeping it. I said "yeah, I really enjoy this car and am definitely keeping it till you get your license", his eyes lit up and he said "really!", I said "yup, the day you get your license, I'm selling it!"...(don't worry, he's now in his 30s, married, has his own business...and I'm still providing his vehicles!) I've promised my 9yr old grandson, that he can have the Prowler if he wants it! On another note, I have a framed cartoon in my office...a king looking over his empire with his son, and saying "someday son, this will all be yours"... And the son says "how much do you think I can get for it." This message has been edited by alprowl on 09-30-2014 at 02:42 PM |

If I still have mine when I die, my oldest son and daughter-in-law liked the 2002 Candy Cat. My younger son liked the 1999 Black cat and my oldest grandson (21 now) wants the Cal Kid cat (my avatar photo). If they don't want them, then they can sell them. |

My oldest son who is 21 now will get the prowler...my youngest son who is 19 will get the Chevy ssr. I am hoping that each car would equally bring somewhere in the 6 figures to the both of them so neither feel slighted. |
