Love most everything about my Prowler except for the exhaust tone with the top up, just a tad to loud to carry on a conversation and gets to me after a hour or two of driving.
Just want to quiet it down a little. Ideas?

Not meaning to be a smart aleck but, for a buck or so, buy some ear plugs. That's what I do. Helps for wind noise too.
Even using one plug helps a little. I do not think you would be happy with a muted exhaust. It's a sports car! Good luck!

Does your car have a set of gears? That changes the cruising RPM. Just a thought.

Stock prowlers are not very loud. I'm guessing modified exhaust, removed baffles, or hardtop. Also much louder when pulling a trailer. I have a modified exhaust, gears, a hardtop, and pull a trailer and the flip flop car is LOUD. My ears are still ringing after 4000 miles this past week. No hardtop this trip, but the sound bounces off the trailer. Way better with the top down than with it up.
