No Longer need help on this car. Thanks.

Buddy of mine, who was a Prowler owner in 1999, is interested in this car. Just checking to see if there is any known history. Price is $30M. Thanking you in advance. J

Nice low mileage. The Rube Goldberg turn signals aren't that bad (trying to be kind here). It has Dynamic shocks. That battery has seen better days.

The pics are not the greatest, so it's hard to tell. Has he seen it in person? If not, maybe there's a Prowler owner nearby that can check it out?

lots O pics of it on ebay
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2001-2DR-ROADSTER-3-5L-AUTO- Blue-/170986071405?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item27cf90656d

It's a "buy it now" only" for $34800 so if you are getting it for $30, that's quite a price drop.

Maybe some Prowler owner in the Chicago suburbs knows who owned it?

A/C wants to know who owned it so he can collect on his "A/C patent pending turn signal relocation kit"

Depending on your urgency, I could make the visit to Oak LAwn and look it over for you. Heck, traveled to Beecher, IL for another east coaster who bought a 'loacal' car ... let me know.

Ha! Bad habit. I work in Finance where "M" still means one thousand from the word "mille". Not the first time I used "M" instead Of "K", outside of the office. Sorry about that! J

Thanks for the offer and the feedback. I have asked to see if the dealer still has the front bumpers and if so, to forward some pics. Those turn signals look like the old Harley style bullet lights just stuck on there. Not at all complementary to the great lines of the car.

I have been a lurker on this site for over 10 years. I have always loved the Prowler, and have been watching and appreciating the mods, and the ingenuity of the members on the board regarding the changes you all have made. Problem is I just don't fit comfortably in the car. I found this out by trying to drive the one that was owned by my buddy who is now looking for another.

Unfortunately his first experience with the car was not a good one. 7 trips on the flatbed back to the dealer after being stranded with a multitude of problems, had him dump it not long after the purchase.

I have advised him that a later model, with the updates and recalls performed, combined with the help from this site should make ownership a far more pleasant experience this time around. That is one of the reasons I would like him to purchase a car that is known by the members of this site, or checked out by an enthusiast. I believe the one that I posted is a Mulholland as it appears to have a Blue top and the striping by Dr. Ru. Is there any other way to verify this? Thanks Again, Joe

I think you can rest assured this is a mulholland. Doesn't look like a repaint. Check if the firewall is blue if you are not sure.

It looks like a nice low mileage mully and $30K is a fair price.

The Mulholland was only in 2001, so I would say 99% sure this is a Mulholland. Blue top, paint and pinstripe all make it a Mulholland.
