Hey wanted to know if there is an organization that I can join for getting a Auto Show Insurance, was told from my insurance agent that I must be part of a club in order to qualify for this type of insurance. Thank you |

It will be more reasonable with collector car insurance. When I first got my Prowler, was going around 2 grand a year. Less than half that now with Barrett-Jackson. |

I was paying around $400 for Barrett Jackson ins when I lived in NY. I am under 400 now with an agreed value. |

I have American Collectors (Agreed Value). At a fraction of what you are paying now (around $535). They are another good option. This message has been edited by DanMan on 10-23-2012 at 07:11 PM |

We changed to B-J 3 yrs ago and our premium is still under 300 a year for the cat and cat trailer with an agreed value although I have heard others whose premiums have almost doubled but I don't know their particular situation (tickets etc). |

I've got Grundy, less than 500/yr. Daily driver required ins'd elsewhere, no age of dd matters (I think - but mine qualifies for > 2007 anyway). Rates based on agreed value which you set, you can set it anywhere cause that is all they pay for total loss. It's a collector car co. |

I contacted BJ about a year ago. Unfortunately, Fortis (sp) was no longer underwriting new policies, and American Collector was the new underwriter. The cost was somewhat higher than what other local people were paying, as well as my then carrier USAA. So I contacted the National Corvette Museum who offered coverage and they were very reasonable. So that is who I went with, maybe worth a look for you as well. Agreed value policy as well (the only reason I changed from USAA). |

I got Haggerty and can name your coverage around 500 is more realistic. They don't limit miles either. Move from state farm for this ride. Can put the savings into mods! Enjoy |

Ed, been with SF for years and now am dropping them -- they're way overpriced. Are you sure your 365 is annual??? Cause SF always bills semi-ann so "they" can drop you faster. Sounds more like 730 ann.. |

Just got my bill for my Barett-Jackson ins on my Prowler, underwritten by Chartis. $240 for the coming year. Of course I live in FL so it's a little cheaper. |
