The US bumper standard was set to 5 mph for the 1973
model year and Canada adopted that as well.
Ten years later the US reduced the standard in half
to 2.5 mph but Canada did not change.
In 2009 Canada harmonized with the US 2.5 standard.

So then does the Prowlers sold in Canada have stronger front bumpers then those sold in the States or did Ply./Chrys. just make them all the the higher standard?
