Does anyone know where I can get a new Coolant Reservoir for a 2002 Prowler. The problem with the over heating was a crack in the reservoir. I live in California and can't seem to find one. |

Just FYI, any year will fit. I think someone will find one for you at a junk yard. |

Ask them to order part# 4815217AD for the Coolant Tank. IF you are replacing the Tank, you probably should replace the Cap too. PART# 4596198. |

I'm sure they likely will have one in the Chrysler LA warehouse,,,or they can get one from back east fairly fast. Talk with an experienced Mopar counter person in the Parts Department at a dealership. |

it can be repaired.keep the old one,someday you or somebody else will need one,repaired the crack in mine.its actually a seam from the mold where it cracks.i do believe the new tank also comes with the cap.ck the cap pressure ,its stamped on the new cap,and may be higher than it should be.17 lbs vs 16 lbs.let us know. ------------------ This message has been edited by catfish on 06-21-2011 at 09:23 PM |
