John, here's a couple of Plantations to check out on the web. These are two different styles and your wife may enjoy visiting these. They're near me and we could work lunch in around these visits.

I must say all the PM's, E mails and calls just puts the Prowler People over the top from any other car owner out there... You all are amazing... I will have more of a layout of my plans by next week and will try to make time to hook up with each and every one of you... Any others out there please send me a E mail to jcollinshemi@yahoo.com or call me at 720-934-3540

I will be flying in Idive and my arms will be so tired that I won't be able to carry anything... But for real if there is any of the window reg. or fuel pump conversions that want the Farmer Fix send them to my home address and I will make it happen for you... Like always for Free you pay the shipping both ways... Thanks again Prowler Nation... John(onecatnodog

Looks like the hurricane blew that boat all the way to Colorado judging from the mountains in the background and the snow on the ground! LOL

Wow Ladie... The Oak Alley is un believable... So Cool, that I had to post a picture of it... Suzy says it's a must go...

The list keeps growing with Prowler Owners... Sugar, George, The Houston Prowlers... I will have more input when it gets closer and get the word out to all my friends down south... John(onecatnodog)

Laddie, make sure you take them to that restaurant by the river and get the JUMBO Shrimp. Best I have ever had and we have been there 4 or 5 times now.
OakAlley is impressive.

Ed, that would be Hymel's Seafood Restaurant in Convent, LA. Another choice of mine will be Nobile's restaurant in Lutcher, LA (I eat here twice a week). It will depend on day of week. Both of these along with my place are across Miss river from Oak Alley & Laura...

John, these attractions are about one hour from New Orleans and 1 & 1/2 hour from Slidell.

Hi

Lori and I have stopped at the Oak Alley a number of times, I would plan to visit during lunch , they have a great restaurant, makes for a very relaxing day. I would also suggest the the Laura Plantation Laura Plantation . The food in this area is great.. Lori and I make this trip every 2-3 years, we go to New Orleans about once a year.. Let us know when you are here in Houston we would like to get together..

Thanks for the tour and great "eats" tips for the N.O area, when we get there next fall. We just put the Oak alley plantation and restaurant on our agenda. Also want to touch base to meet up in the Houston area too when we pass through there this fall.
Thanx!
Norm and Sue

Hymel's is outstanding so if the other place compares or is better, it is a great place. I feel like jumping on the bike and heading south for some jumbo shrimp.
