127 top down and felt very comfortable. Would have gone faster but started running into traffic. Slowed down and found a cop hidden behind a pile of rocks about a mile down the road. After I got home I got a call from Chrysler telling me not to drive the car anymore due to a recall. Seems they forgot to weld the frame together and it could effect my steering. Now that's comforting news after going 127mph...
Took a pic of speedometer going 110 (after slowing down from 120 to get the camera out) on the way to Tulsa. Couldn't speed back up due to traffic.
Several trips to Arkansas, I'll cruise at 100 for about half an hour crossing Lake Eufala. Interestingly, thats the best mileage I've ever gotten.

Never over 85 at my age. When I was "young" I used to drive my Jag XK120 over 100 without a thought (Drum brakes, 16" tube tires, and not a thought about what could happen).

One WOT wild ride on M59, up against a Dodge Ram Hemi at 4:30pm during a weekday. The last time I looked down I was passing 110 MPH in 3rd gear. After leaving the truck in the literal dust I backed down to 55. Don't tell Monahan (former officer of the law) or Sharon (the Boss), I'll deny every word.

I was told the Prowler has a fuel cut-off switch at 125MPH. has anyone ever heard this?

I had mine close to that on the Transportation Research Track near Marysville, Ohio. It's a curved bank track, unlike the flat banked NASCAR tracks. You can drive with your hands off off the wheel at 100+ MPH and the car will drive itself. Very cool.

I have a picture of Radkat's speedometer at 140mph that I took while standing behind/to the side of the car. Only the car wasn't going anywhere. It was on the dyno after his supercharger install.

I have heard that the computer shut the fuel down at 6000rpms or 132mph. Others said it cut off at 135. They claim it happened to them and was rather scarey when it happened. But that would be impossible, wouldn't it?
