Ed,
You are exactly right and it lights up red when the lights are turned on, and you don't have to take it off when you put the top up.

Hi Ed......thanks for the info. The windsupressor site doesn't mention anything about fitment for a Prowler. Can you fill me in with more info? Is yours a SSR windscreen adapted to fit your Kat? If it doesn't mount/click into the Kat's c-top rear ports, then how is is mounted inyour Kat? Thanks in advance for your reply. Brett

Hey Brett,
This is the installation instructions I received from Ray with my W/S. It took about 30 minutes...real easy.

Hi George,

Is your's exactly like what is shown on your Kat above or is it dipped in-between the two seats. Does your's have the SSR logo on it? Thanks again.....love your Kat. Any updated interior mods done lately....if so send some pics?

Broakie, it is extremely simple to use the search feature here and it will usually answer all your questions, without waiting.
Here is one of 16 links

That should give you a good start.

The glass is 3/8' thick and etched in the glass is the Prowler Logo with the Kat. It is very good quality workmanship. Ray sells the LED light strip kit with the W/S in various colors. The LED strip runs along the bottom of the glass and really looks nice at night. My LED strip is red and the footwells are red LEDs as well.
Once I installed the W/S and adjusted the height to where it would not hit the convertible top, it has never moved and with the windows up does a good job. My wife wears hearing aids. I like mine a lot.
