Jim, glad to do it. Must admit a beer sounds good..lets do it.

Anyone looking at the 63 and the grill can probably recognize the theme that emerges. Jim likes to have things right.

Seems only fair to toss up a couple before pics.

Nice before after of instrument cluster. Guages are new old stock.

Back in the 60s I thought the Mopars were ugly. My eyesight has gotten a lot worse and the Mopars look fabulous to me now. I wish I had one. That car is beautiful. I actually like those better than the Challengers from the 60s. Great work Jim.

That is beautiful - my favorite car, favorite year.

Where do you guys manage to FIND these cars?????????

Congratulations.

Whose rat rod is that in the parking lot shot? That's a pretty nice ride, too.......

Thanks guys. It feels good to have this car finished and to see and hear all of the nice comments here and at the cruise-ins on the week-end. There were approximately 7500 cars at Carlisle and for the Celebrity Pick ( picked by a famous Car Guy Celebrity each year ), it was down to my car and one other for several hours. The other car won out....and it was well deserved. But just to be considered and in that company.... Well...I was very proud to say the least.

Dave... your comment means a lot.... I have seen your stable of classics.

Dead-end Don.. the rat rod is my 31Ford Sedan converted to a Sedan Delivery, 4" Choped Top, Sucide Doors, on a custom chasis. The engine in the pic is being replaced with a 383 Chevy stroker with a 671 Supercharger. I'll post pics of it later.
Jim

OUTSTANDING

I had a 1963 426 Plymouth Savoy that ran 118 MPH in 11.9

seconds at the drags. All you could run was a 8 in.wide

tire with street tread.

I said I like that body style even more than the old Challengers now. My son has a new Challenger also. I like the looks of them but I think I would rather have something from the 60s. I would really like to get a 66 GTO, actually.
