My door chimes every time I open the door even with everything off and the keys out of the ignition but does stop when I close the door. The side marker lights, parking lights and tail lights turn on and stay on for about 3 minutes then turn off. Not sure where to start looking for the problem. The headlight switch seam to be working properly and not binding. Any help would be appreciated.

The list of reasons the chime may be on.

Seat belt, exterior lamps on, key in the ignition, tire pressure, dome lamp on, warning lamp announcement, Turn signal on and I think deck lid not latched.

If your top is up, the deck lid may be unlatched and you might not notice it. Do you remember pulling the wire loop located behind the driver's seat back? That a safety pull for the trunk lid.

There are two settings for the interior light. Get in and shut door and see if the lights turn off. Any message on the dash?

I check the light switch, deck lid, signal lights switch and seat belts. Everything seems to be work properly. Going to change the lights switch before I try to source a BCM. When I reach through the side widow to power lock the doors the park lights, side marker lights and tail lights come on and stay on for three minutes then turn themselves off. Same thing happens if I just open the door and close it. Lights turn and then off after 3 minutes. Is this normal.
