It was a very wet drive back from Detroit to Rockford. We had rain practically all the way. There was also a 2.25 mile backup on the I80 when we approached Indiana's western toll booth. Continuing west to "The Gauntlet" (the run around the south end of lake Michigan on I94/I80) was very crowded and wet. I was glad to get thru it! Arrived home safely with GREAT MEMORIES because in spite of the trip home, Our final run down Woodward Ave was a blast. ------------------ |

Leo.........I'm glad that you and Gloria made it back safely. It rained here all day yesterday, is still raining today and looks like we are in for a week of it!! We also had rain the whole way back. We are having rain again today and heavy rains are scheduled for tomorrow. |

We got home to 93 degrees and not a drop of rain in weeks. We are hoping for some rain. The weather at Woodward was pretty much perfect until Sat. evening when it started drizzling very lightly. Worked out pretty well for a change for a POA event. |
