There are so many to thank for a wonderful time at Woodward. I hessitate to name names 'cause I don't want to leave anyone out. I wanna thank Mr.Mcgoo Gary for picking up my trailer and getting it to Woodward. I wanna thank ivegotsugar Angela, Sunshine Denise, and BradleyG for bringing it back from Woodward for me. I wanna thank Kraut for picking me up from the airport and giving me a ride to the hotel. I wanna thank CJ and Bob (and others - I don't know who all worked on the event) for all the work that they put into the event from the pins, to the event logo artwork, to the dash plaques, to arranging the police shutting down Woodward, to the police themselves, I could go on. I wanna thank Denise for giving me her car for the event. It made it much more fun being able to drive. I wanna thank Angela for keeping me company on the cruises. I wanna thank the hotel staff for making the stay a pleasant one. I wanna thank the midnight ghosts for condomizing Ron's car. I wanna thank the Prowler owners for all showing up and making this the biggest event to date. It was great seeing some of you again and meeting some others I hadn't had the chance to meet before. I wanna thank DC for hosting us at their museum. I wanna thank Dr. Ru for pinstriping for everyone. I wanna thank the weather gods for the more than beautiful weather. I wanna thank the man upstairs for keeping everyone safe to, from, and during the event. Rumors were abound that an orange Prowler was on the way to Woodward from Maryland, but ended up under an 18 wheeler. Hopefully it was only a rumor. As far as I know, the only casualty was a lost decklid. I wanna thank Mike and Karen Gatlin for their video work. I wanna thank our various vendors for their products and assistance with installations. And I wanna say thank you to anyone else I may have missed for their part in making my time there just a little more fun and a little more interesting. Lots of great cars, great people, and great times, making great memories of my first trip to Woodward. This message has been edited by idive on 08-21-2007 at 08:18 PM |
