With all the stuff going on with the discussion of license plate frames, we did some checking
and found that in fact Chrysler has produced a frame that goes on the front bumper.

Having removed our bumpers a long time ago, we did not realize that there were dimples in the
bumper to mark where the frame should be secured.

So we checked with our local Chrysler dealer, placed an order and had a frame (OEM) in two
days. We only did this so that at some point in the future when we sell the car, it will be available
to the new owners in case they live in a state requiring a front plate.

I still have my frame somewhere from when the kat was new. It has been so long since I had bumpers, I forgot all about that one.

I recall that from when I first bnought my Kat, but quickly forgot about it. Recently I have cursed Minnesota roads because I thought I had taken a few hits with small rocks, puting dimples in my bumper.

Thanks for reminding me those came from the factory.

To each their own but if I thought a person buying my car would mount that plate holder, I would REFUSE to sell to them. I still have one of those around here somewhere. What a sacrilege to mount that thing.
